Grow  in  Christ

Just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.  Colossians 2:6-7

Our mission at Lansing First Southern Baptist church is to tell others about the Savior, Jesus Christ, and then the help believers grow to be more like Him.  Scroll down to see  our different discipleship programs by age.

KidsJourney is offered during our worship services. Children begin worship time with their families, then are dismissed and guided to KidsJourney just prior to Pastor’s sermon.

Engaging Bible teaching for Sunday School and KidsJourney is provided by trained and screened  volunteers who love kids.  Parents pick up their children in Fellowship Hall after Sunday School and at the close of worship service.

Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young,

but set an example for the believers in speech,

in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

1 Timothy 4:12

Life Groups

Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another.

Hebrews 10:24-25

We love each other.  We love God and we share our lives together. It's as simple as that.

A Life group is typically a smaller gathering of people who come together to share in fellowship, God's Word and to support and strengthen one another.

Life Groups meet weekly to encourage and support us in our faith and in our daily lives.  You will study the Bible and motivate one another to live out what we read.

If you would like information about joining a life group or how to get involved please email us: connect@lansingfirstsouthern.com
