Worship is the highest expression of love and faith we can give, and it is the highlight of our life together at Lansing First Southern. God has raised his Son from the dead, and He offers us forgiveness, peace, and life when we come to him by faith. Please join us each week to worship the Lord and grow in faith with us.

We meet on Sundays at 10:30 am. Our worship services are intentionally focused on knowing and praising God as one body of faith. Contemporary worship music, Scripture-focused preaching, and prayer times allow each worshiper to be a part of our service to the Lord.

"Because your love is better than life, my lips will praise you. So I will bless you as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands." Psalm 63:3-4 (ESV)

Baptism is one of the most treasured acts that we practice as a church family. It is the first step of faith in following Jesus for a new believer. Jesus commanded his disciples, "Go therefore and make disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit..." Matthew 28:19 Water baptism is a rich symbolic act that displays your faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, as well as your act of dying to sin and living a new life by the power of God's Spirit in you. If you have put your trust in Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins and the eternal life that He gives, baptism is the biblical way to publicly identify yourself as his follower. Click "I'm ready!" below and the pastor will contact you to visit about arranging your baptism or answering any other questions you have.

The  lord's  supper

Jesus took the bread and broke it and gave thanks and gave it to them saying, "This is my body given for you, do this in remembrance of me."  Luke 22:19

Communion is a sacred ordinance of the church.  We celebrate the Lord's Supper on the first Sunday of every month.  We practice open communion, so anyone that has received Christ as their savior is invited to participate.
